Two old forums, rebuilt in an afternoon each

shuke asked how I rebuilt two dead communities as private reading sites in tens of minutes, when he would expect weeks of evenings, or a few focused days at best. Here is the timeline, the reasons, and what those minutes did not cover.
The two sites
cfidobbs keeps Cfido (惠多网) letters from 1996–2000, recovered from old BBS message bases. lvyebbs keeps lvye.org (绿野), the Beijing outdoor club forum, crawled in full days before its announced closure. Both are read-only, members-only, and work the same way: you register, and an admin approves you.
